the Healing Rock Garden

(Visible from Forest Hills Parkway, St. Vincent de Paul Church has a large parking lot in front, and a statue of Christ the King to the right of the church. The healing garden is near the statue and very recognizable because of the white stones with the babys' names on them.)

An Invitation
Anyone who has lost a dear baby before birth is most welcome to add their baby's name/rock to our healing garden. We usually have a day/evening in June when we gather to paint the rocks and, along with a prayer service, place them in the healing garden. If you wish to participate, please

An Outreach

If you would like us to paint a rock for you and put it in the garden, we would be delighted to do it.  Simply tell us your baby's name, what you might like to see on the rock -  cross, hearts, angels, etc. and how you would like to have it signed.  Please note:  we are not professional artists! 

An Addition!

A parishioner at this church had constructed a rosary garden which will include our healing rock garden.  Her 22 year old son died in 2005 and the rosary garden is in memory of him.  She told us that he loved little children and she feels he would be watching over the babies in our garden.  What a comforting image.
